Say Kampai is opening in stages. Today the website is public, and accounts and payments are being finished. These terms apply once you make an account. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
What Say Kampai is
A live quiz game for your wedding reception. You write questions about the two of you. At the reception, guests scan a QR code, type a name and answer on their phones, and a leaderboard runs on the big screen. It works in the browser, so nobody installs an app.
Your account
You must be 16 or older to make an account. Keep access to your email safe, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
Free test
Every wedding can be played free with up to 5 players, so you can try it before you pay. You don't need a card for that.
Prices
All payments are one-time. There is no subscription.
- One wedding costs $49 if you buy it 30 or more days before the wedding date, and $69 after that. It unlocks unlimited players for that wedding.
- Planner packs cost $79 for 3 weddings and $200 for 10 weddings. A pack is valid for 24 months from the purchase. A wedding counts as used when you create it. If you create one by mistake, write to us and we'll give it back.
- AI couple portraits are planned for paid weddings and are not available yet.
Prices are in US dollars. Local taxes are added at checkout where they apply. Dodo Payments handles the payment and is the seller on your receipt, so its checkout terms apply to the payment itself.
Refunds
A paid wedding or planner pack is unlocked the moment you pay, so all sales are final. By paying, you ask for immediate access, and you give up the 14-day right of withdrawal that EU law gives for online purchases.
We still refund you if:
- you bought the same thing twice by accident;
- someone paid with your card without your consent;
- we could not unlock your wedding at all.
To ask, write to hello@saykampai.com with your receipt. Dodo Payments is the seller on your receipt and handles the payment itself, so a refund goes back through Dodo to the way you paid. A planner-pack wedding created by mistake is given back, as the prices section says. This doesn't take away any rights you have under consumer law where you live.
What you add to your game
You are responsible for the questions, names and photos you add. You keep them. You let us store them and show them to your guests only to run your game.
You may not use Say Kampai for:
- anything illegal, or content that is hateful or harasses someone;
- photos of other people without their permission;
- attempts to break, overload or get into the service or someone else's game.
If you break these rules, we may remove the content or close the account.
On the day
The game needs internet on the guests' phones and on the laptop that runs the big screen. We can't promise the venue's Wi-Fi or phone signal will work, so test the game at the venue before the day, with the free 5 players if you like. We work to keep Say Kampai running, but we can't guarantee it will never be interrupted.
Our liability
As far as the law allows, if something goes wrong our liability to you is limited to what you paid us for that wedding or pack.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union member state where Say Kampai is established. If we can't settle a dispute by email first, it goes to the competent courts of that state, unless mandatory consumer protection law lets you bring it in your own country.
Changes and ending
You can stop using Say Kampai and delete your account at any time. When we change these terms, we update the date at the top. For bigger changes, we email everyone with an account before they take effect.
